Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Salt Lake City, UT. You will stage and organize materials, operate forklifts, and support production with accurate inventory and material moves.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift (6:30 PM–6:30 AM) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic calculations and navigate computer systems.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Availability for a 12-hour rotating shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Stage and organize materials in designated warehouse and production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, walkie riders, and order selectors to move materials safely.
• Perform inventory transactions, material requests, and move orders within Oracle.
• Supply production with required materials and reconcile work orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts, verify inventory, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Warehouse and Production Support Department supporting the Production and Inventory Control Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $20.33 per hour
