GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This position receives, stores, and distributes products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport products to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Ensure proper storage and retrieval
  • Consolidate products in designated locations
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility
  • Return overstock to proper locations and perform stock checks
  • Enter shipments into the system
  • Stack goods in correct locations following inventory control instructions
  • Check that loads are secure
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging truck batteries
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Manual dexterity and good eyesight required
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods
  • Good eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on season

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Good math, language, reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
  • High attention to safety to prevent injuries
  • Follow operating instructions and keep accurate records
  • Complete tasks accurately, timely, and safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
