Job summary

ManpowerGroup (USA) is seeking a Material Handler for a leading manufacturing client. You will support the Operations Department by receiving, moving, and storing materials, and ensuring accuracy and safety in all handling.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and proactive collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with consistent day shifts and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Basic math skills and reading/writing in English.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, transfer, and store materials for manufacturing operations.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Operations Department supporting various manufacturing functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Pay Range:$18/hr

Shift:Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Receive, retrieve, transfer, and store parts and materials for manufacturing operations.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to move materials accurately.
  • Inspect product loads for accuracy and safety before movement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one-year experience in shipping/receiving and material handling in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with RF scanners is helpful.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read and write in English.
