Job summary

Caresoft Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Raritan, NJ for a 12-month assignment. Shift is 7am to 3:30pm with potential overtime. Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, loading/unloading freight, and maintaining a clean workspace in a cGMP environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in a distribution setting, exposure to SAP/WMS, and the ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack. Physical demands include lifting up to 60 pounds and working in cold environments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience in a distribution related environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; SAP and Warehouse Management systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick/Pack customer orders and manufacturing orders per instructions and SOPs.
• Unload trucks and palletize incoming materials for storage or delivery.
• Visually inspect items for accuracy and condition before receipt documentation.
• Enter receipt information into the computer system.
• Load freight on carriers in accordance with shipping manifests and bills of lading.
• Pick, stage, and deliver components for manufacturing orders based on moves or TOs.
• Process materials for scrap per regulations and destruction under policy.

Job Description

The Position This position is responsible for all material handling activities such as picking and packing internal or external orders, loading and unloading freight and verifying against the bill of lading or manifest, re-palletizing materials to conform to department SOP's, and maintaining a neat and orderly work area that complies with all cGMP's and good housekeeping practices at all times.

• 30% - Pick/Pack customer orders and manufacturing orders tom conform with instructions, regulations and department SOP's.
• Unload trucks and palletize all incoming materials and store/deliver to appropriate area/individual
• 20% - Visually inspect for accuracy and condition prior to signing receipt documentation.
• Enters receipt information into applicable computer system, if applicable
• 20% - Loads freight on carriers in accordance with shipping manifest reports and Bill of Lading
• 15% - Pick, Stage, and Deliver components for manufacturing orders based on move request and/or transfer orders (TO's)
• 10% - Process all materials for scrap when required in accordance with medical and/or hazardous waste regulations along with receipt storage and destruction of returned goods in accordance with the Returned Goods Policy 5% - Other work-related activities/duties as assigned
• Other work-related duties as assigned
• Able to work in enviroments as cold as -20C with appropriate PPE

Skills Required

1-2 years of related exerience in a distrbution related enviroment. Preferred Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in SAP and Warehouse Management systems Experience
• Operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment
• Experience working in a Biotechnology, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Consumer Product Manufacturing environment.
