Job summary

Transcendia,-Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Rancho Cucamonga, CA to maintain continuous materials supply and support efficient operations at the machines.

This full-time role requires tow motor experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position involves loading/unloading materials, moving items between storage and work areas, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse while following all company procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Tow motor certification training required.
• Ability to multi task and read production tickets.
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions.
• Ability to read tape measure, including micrometer.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to maintain production standards.
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintains company’s quality standards and follows computer procedures to handle damaged material and quarantine material.
• Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Opens containers to prepare to be moved.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Loads truck.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Brings and takes away all Gaylord boxes for recycling to machines.
• Brings and takes away skids for machine operators jobs.
• Bands and stores all endplates, skids, and recyclable material.
• Empties all trash throughout shop.
