Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a on-site Parts Handler at our Rancho Cucamonga facility. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least six months in manufacturing, and forklift certification. US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Mathematical skills are required.

• Understands and follows company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policies, safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Removes and weighting chips.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
• Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order
• Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines
• Reports any problems observed to supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or machine malfunctions, etc
• Produces daily production reports as directed by supervisor
• Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool diploma or equivalent GED.
