Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking a Material Handler to join the Shipping Team. The role supports receiving, moving, and shipping production materials, operating stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts, and recording materials in SAP. Candidates should have forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a high-traffic environment.

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Hourly rate: $19.00.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in material management (warehousing).
• 2+ years experience driving forklift, order picker, and stand up.
• Must lift parts or sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify incoming materials and record in SAP.
• Pack, ship, and document outgoing materials for drivers.
• Use RF scanners for material handling with accuracy.

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Shipping Team. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

Shift Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Hourly Rate: $19.00

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in material management (warehousing)
• 2+ years' experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with SAP system
• Experience with RF Scanner devices
• Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

You’ll make an impact by:

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles, while unloading and receiving production materials and recording them in SAP.
• Count and verify incoming materials in the storeroom and pick materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners with accuracy.
• Efficiently pack and ship materials damage-free, load outgoing shipments, and ensure proper documentation is provided to drivers.
• Proficient with small hand tools, including battery, electrical, and air-powered tools.
• Adhere to all safety rules, follow established processes and methods, and actively seek improvement opportunities.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
