Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Material Handler in our Portland area operation. The role involves moving and storing materials using forklifts and conveyors, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods according to established guidelines. The shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., with on‑the‑spot benefits. Starting wage is $23.60 per hour with a raise after three months. Bridgestone offers medical, dental and vision coverage from day one, plus a 401(k) plan, life insurance and paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or associate degree preferred.
• Experience with basic material handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate low complexity motorized and non-motorized handling equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors)
The shift will be M-F 6am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines


• Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products


• Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment


• Other duties as assigned
