Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service in Philadelphia, MS is seeking a warehouse/parts associate to join our team. You will receive, identify, box and store service parts, prepare shipments, and dispatch using UPS or other methods.

You will help set up new storage locations and maintain cleanliness and order in Inventory Storage Building 14. You will operate equipment such as Forklift and Combilift and assist in painting when time permits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of related experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, box, and store service parts.
• Retrieve parts and prepare shipments; dispatch via UPS or other methods.
• Assist in setting up new storage locations and maintain cleanliness and order in Storage Building 14.
• Review shipments for accuracy, correct addresses, and proper shipment type.
• Operate Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Combilift; assist in painting when time permits.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• As assigned by supervisor, receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists. Prepares parts for shipment to include building shipping containers for certain parts. Dispatches by best method.
• Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.
• Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.)
• Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Combilift, etc.
• Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory Storage Building 14.
• Assists in painting when time permits.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:

• Basic computer skills
• General knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferred
• Must be able to operator Forklift and Combilift

Education and Experience:

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
