Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service is seeking a full-time Parts Clerk to receive, identify, store, and prepare Taylor OEM parts for shipment. You will pull inventory, verify orders, and dispatch parts using appropriate shipping methods.

The role requires forklift/Combilift operation, basic computer skills, and high school education or GED. Medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists.
• Prepares parts for shipment, including building shipping containers.
• Dispatches shipments by the appropriate method.
• Assists in setting up new storage locations and keeps areas clean and organized.
• Reviews parts before shipment for correct quantity, addresses, comments, and shipment type.
• Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Combilift.
• Pulls and shelves parts in Inventory Storage Building 14.
• Assists in painting when time allows.

Duties/Responsibilities

• As assigned by supervisor, receives, identifies, boxes, and stores service parts in an orderly manner.
• Retrieves parts as directed by sales order or shipping lists.
• Prepares parts for shipment to include building shipping containers for certain parts.
• Dispatches by best method.
• Assists supervisor in setting up new storage locations and helps to maintain cleanliness and order in these locations.
• Reviews parts before shipment to include right number of parts in the shipment, addresses are correct, all comments on order are fulfilled, and correct type of shipment is assigned to the package (UPS, 2nd day, ground, etc.).
• Operates equipment such as Forklift, Overhead Crane, Combilift, etc.
• Pulls and puts parts up at Inventory Storage Building 14.
• Assists in painting when time permits.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:

• Basic computer skills
• General knowledge of Taylor Parts System preferred
• Must be able to operator Forklift and Combilift

Education and Experience:

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
