Job summary

The Advance Group, Walbridge, Ohio, has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturer and is seeking Material Handlers for an entry-level role. The position focuses on safe, efficient preparation of warehouse shipments and supports multiple departments.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with overtime and some weekend work; pay is $16.50 per hour. Candidates must have prior warehouse experience, pass background/drug screens, and lift up to 30–40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience required.
• Attention to detail and excellent attendance.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background checks.
• Willing to work in multiple departments and lift 30–40 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Entry-level openings with great pay! We've partnered with an amazing company that provides great work/life balance! The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who just opened it's 4th location in the area and has a need for Material Handlers.

Material Handler position is responsible for safely and efficiently preparing warehouse shipments.

Duties for the Material Handler

• Picking orders
• Material Handling
• Packaging, inspecting, and banding modules by hand
• Scanning and labeling pallets
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Warehouse and Shipping duties

Requirements for the Material Handlers

• Must have previous warehouse experience
• Excellent attendance
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Willing to work in various departments
• Must be able to lift up to 30-40 lbs on a consistent basis
• Must be able to climb stairs occasionally
• Comfortable working in a dirty, non-climate controlled environment
• Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment vision screen, drug, and background check
• Must have access to a smartphone to use the company's mobile timekeeping system

Shift for the Material Handlers

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, overtime up until 7pm as needed Some weekends as needed

Pay for the Material Handler

$16.50/hr
