Job summary

MITY Inc. in Orem, UT is seeking a Material Handler to support production by stocking materials and ensuring a smooth flow from warehouse to line. You’ll operate a forklift, perform cycle counts, label parts, and keep ERP data accurate to sustain daily productivity.

First shift, Monday–Thursday 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime possible. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count inventory.
• Deliver material from the warehouse to the production line.
• Ensure material in the warehouse is organized and labeled.
• Maintain ERP system accuracy for material in the warehouse.
• Reclass material from one location to another.
• Be proficient at both the mobile and desktop version of our ERP system.
• Troubleshoot material issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy physically and in the system.

Mity-Lite is a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose conference, banquet, and institutional furniture based in Orem, Utah. We are looking to add one person to our team. This person will work in a production environment and is tasked with keeping workstations fully stocked with materials, thus controlling the continuous flow of productivity. Come join our team!

Current operations are first shift, Monday -Thursday 5am-3:30pm with overtime after shift or on Friday (hours could change, but will remain day shift)

Typical Day

• Cycle Count Inventory
• Forklift Driving
• Deliver Material from the Warehouse to the Production line.
• Ensure material in the warehouse is organized and labeled correctly.
• 5S area.
• Customer Service to production is key with open honest communication.
• Remove unneeded material from the production line.
• Maintain ERP system accuracy for material in the warehouse.
• Reclass material from one location to another.
• Be proficient at both the mobile and desktop version of our ERP system.
• Troubleshoot material issues.
• Understand the different parts and what part of the finished product they represent.
• Maintain Inventory accuracy both physically and systematically for raw parts.
• Other duties as assigned

The Material Handler will place the needs of their group as top priority. This is a key position that will be responsible for providing materials and parts to their groups, so they do not need to leave their workstations, so the group members can focus on the task at hand.
