Job summary

Pregis LLC is seeking a Material Handler at Bethel, PA to move materials between production and inventory, load and unload trucks, and stage finished product. You will operate a sit-down forklift, maintain organized inventory, and follow Pregis safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Candidates should have 1+ years forklift and inventory control experience, with SAP experience considered a plus. This is a full-time on-site role with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
• 1+ years of inventory control experience.
• Experience with Inventory Control/Warehouse Management software (ex. SAP) is a plus!
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load/unload, and transfer material within the plant and departments.
• Maintain FIFO (first-in, first-out) controlled warehouse per Pregis Best Practice.
• Identify and place materials and supplies in stock and record inventory locations.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and securing product in correct location.

Location:

Bethel, PA

Shift (s) Available:

• 7AM-7PM; Sunday-Tuesday & every other Wednesday
• 7AM-7PM; Thurs.-Saturday & every other Wednesday

In the position of Material Handler, you will maintain distribution of materials between the production floor and inventory; loading and unloading; staging finished product in designated inventory location and maintain general housekeeping.

• You will safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer material within the plant and within departments as needed.
• You will keep safety at the forefront of team’s thinking and approach to work.
• You will assist to maintain a safe, well organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse per Pregis Best Practice.
• You will maintain inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock and record location of inventory.
• You will prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and securing product in correct location.

Knowledge

• The ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others and promote a positive teamwork culture.
• Be knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.
• Exposure to moving equipment
• Humidity may exceed 80%
• Personal Protective Equipment required
