Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Material Handler for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm) at our NC facility. You will manage inventories, supply on-demand components, and maintain housekeeping across the floor while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of experience.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer skills including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Good math and filing skills.
  • Production minded MRP systems.
  • General environmental health and safety rules.
  • Inventory management.
  • Standard manufacturing practices.
  • Quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all component inventories in storage locations and MRP system.
  • Supply components to productive floor based on customer demand.
  • Keep all areas of responsibility up to facility housekeeping standards.
  • Coordinate the distribution of raw materials and finished components to their designated areas for completion of processes.
  • Run floor scrubbers.
  • Perform moderate to heavy lifting and bending.
  • Become a certified PIV operator.
  • Work OT as needed, Saturdays included.

What You’ll Do
