Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handler to support a premier manufacturing client in Newburyport, MA. You will receive materials, compare packing slips to purchase orders, record receipts, and maintain accurate inventory records.

You’ll help resolve discrepancies with vendors, label and place materials, and communicate about stock levels and deliveries. Training provided for equipment operation and a 48-hour work week with paid OT.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, inventory, or warehouse operations.
• Must-have: strong organizational skills and punctuality.
• Must-have: safety-conscious and able to follow protocols.
• Experience with receiving, labeling, and inventory tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and reconcile packing slips with purchase orders.
• Enter receipts into the system and maintain organized records.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and ensure proper labeling and placement of materials.
• Communicate clearly about inventory, deliveries, and stock levels.
• Operate material handling equipment after training and participate in monthly inventories.
• Keep work area clean and adhere to safety procedures.

We’re seeking a Material Handlerto work at a premier manufacturing client in Newburyport, MA.

Pay: $22.00/hour
Shift: 6am-4pm Monday-Friday (48 – hour weeks with paid OT)

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Receiving materials, comparing packing slips to purchase orders, entering receipts into system, and maintaining organized records
  
• Resolving discrepancies with vendors and ensuring accurate labeling, placement, and tracking of materials
  
• Communicating effectively about inventory, deliveries, and stock depletion
  
• Operating material handling equipment (with proper training), conducting monthly inventories, and assisting with general shop tasks
  
• Keeping the work area clean, adhering to all safety protocols, and following company procedures and policies
