Job description

We are currently looking for a Material Handler at Reeb Millwork to join our VALUES-based organization. In this role, you will need a strong power equipment background. Operate electric lifts, cherry pickers, etc. Experience in supplying production lines.

First Shift Opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in assigning production areas when not moving materials
  2. Operate power equipment, electric lifts, cherry pickers, etc.
  3. Supply production lines
  4. Ensure products and materials meet quality expectations
  5. Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities
  6. Support area needs by removing empty pallets, trash, and recyclable materials
  7. Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or an air hose to blow off dust, ensuring parts are ready for painting
  8. Service the pre-finish line with needed material components (loading paint carts with frame parts and doors)
  9. Assist the pre-finish line area with removal of completed products to go to build prep or stretch-wrap machine
  10. Stage completed and stretch-wrapped door products into shipping lanes by loads
  11. Load trucks with finished door products as directed by the Production Manager
  12. Adhere to forklift, operational, quality, and safety guidelines
  13. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills—creating open channels, adapting messages, and listening carefully

Starting Pay: $18-$19/hr based on experience.
