Job summary

JAC Products in Napoleon, OH is hiring Material Handlers to support fast-paced manufacturing operations. Starting pay is $21.00/hour with an additional $1.00/hour premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will move materials, stock workstations, and operate forklift-related equipment to keep production moving.

The role requires safety focus, teamwork, and basic math, with a strong emphasis on reading safety rules and following procedures. This full-time position offers a hands-on environment on-site.

Qualifications

NOW HIRING: MATERIAL HANDLERS - ALL 3 SHIFTS!

Our Napoleon, OH plant is looking for Material Handlers to join our team.

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour

2nd & 3rd Shift: Additional $1.00/hour shift premium

What You'll Do

Material Handlers are responsible for supplying workstations and material racks with the proper materials, supplies, and component parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Operate equipment such as an industrial forklift, tugger and electric pallet stacker. In addition, Material Handlers transport finished goods and scrap to designated areas while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Skills/Competencies

• Ability to pass the necessary testing for equipment licenses (lift truck license and/or tugger license).
• Maintain a team-oriented working environment that allows for individual differences and provide for individual growth.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedure manuals and operating instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Familiar with FIFO (First In - First Out) protocols
• Ability to use various types of tools (manual, electric, pneumatic, etc.).
• Demonstrated knowledge of PPE and Safety Systems
• Demonstrated sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
• Awareness level Lock Out/Tag Out process knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of materials and packaging products.
• Knowledge of lot control & lot control processes.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years of operating an industrial forklift in a production manufacturing facility.
