Job summary

Interstate Warehousing is seeking a full-time position based in Murfreesboro, TN. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include reading orders, operating forklifts and hand-trucks, loading/unloading pallets, and recording materials and orders. Day and night shifts offer salaries up to $24–$27 per hour with perfect attendance incentives.

• Experience in warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.

SUMMARY:Receives, stores, and distributes products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms within a warehouse established by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Reads shipping order and/or picking order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Positions forks and/or other lifting devices under or over loaded pallets and transports same to designated warehouse areas and/or storage racks by operating electric-powered forklifts or electric-powered hand-trucks.Loads and/or unloads product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.Marks materials with identifying information.Lifts, counts, sorts, and places product items on pallets according to order fill instructions or special requirements.Prepares and records order fill tickets and truck logs (load sheets) in accordance with company standards.Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Day Shift - Starting up to $24.00-$25.00/hr (Perfect Attendance incentive included as long as applicable)Night Shift - Starting up to $26.25-$27.25/hr (Perfect Attendance incentive included as long as applicable)Available Shifts:Day 1: Starts up to $24.00/hr: Sunday 6am-6pm, Monday 6am-6pm, Tuesday 6am-6pm, Wednesday 6am-12pmDay 2: Starts up to $25.00/hr: Wednesday 12pm-6pm, Thursday 6am-6pm, Friday 6am-6pm, Saturday 6am-6pmNight 1: Starts up to $26.25/hr: Sunday 6pm-6am, Monday 6pm-6am, Tuesday 6pm-6am, Wednesday 6pm-12amNight 2: Starts up to $27.25/hr: Wednesday 11:59pm-6am, Thursday 6pm-6am, Friday 6pm-6am, Saturday 6pm-6amNo forklift experience needed!Looking for applicants with good job longevity.Applicants must pass a preemployment math/safety test.Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.Ability to operate in 0-36 degree temperatures with provided gear.Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.Ability to lift heavy objectsWillingness to learn and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.Prior experience with order picking or shipping & receiving tasks is advantageous.Job Type: Full-time
