Job summary

Tippmann Group in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms. You will read orders, move goods with forklifts, load/unload pallets, and prepare logs according to company standards.

Day shifts start up to $24.00/hr and night shifts up to $27.25/hr, with incentives for perfect attendance. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and work in 0-36 degree temperatures.

SUMMARY:

Receives, stores, and distributes products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms within a warehouse established by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reads shipping order and/or picking order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Positions forks and/or other lifting devices under or over loaded pallets and transports same to designated warehouse areas and/or storage racks by operating electric-powered forklifts or electric-powered hand-trucks.
• Loads and/or unloads product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Lifts, counts, sorts, and places product items on pallets according to order fill instructions or special requirements.
• Prepares and records order fill tickets and truck logs (load sheets) in accordance with company standards.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

Day Shift - Starting up to $24.00-$25.00/hr (Perfect Attendance incentive included as long as applicable)

Night Shift - Starting up to $26.25-$27.25/hr (Perfect Attendance incentive included as long as applicable)

Available Shifts:

• Day 1: Starts up to $24.00/hr: Sunday 6am-6pm, Monday 6am-6pm, Tuesday 6am-6pm, Wednesday 6am-12pm
• Day 2: Starts up to $25.00/hr: Wednesday 12pm-6pm, Thursday 6am-6pm, Friday 6am-6pm, Saturday 6am-6pm
• Night 1: Starts up to $26.25/hr: Sunday 6pm-6am, Monday 6pm-6am, Tuesday 6pm-6am, Wednesday 6pm-12am
• Night 2: Starts up to $27.25/hr: Wednesday 11:59pm-6am, Thursday 6pm-6am, Friday 6pm-6am, Saturday 6pm-6am

Qualifications

• No forklift experience needed!
• Looking for applicants with good job longevity.
• Applicants must pass a preemployment math/safety test.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate in 0-36 degree temperatures with provided gear.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to learn and operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.
• Prior experience with order picking or shipping & receiving tasks is advantageous.
