Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for handling, moving, and storing various pieces of equipment and materials, both small and large, for HVAC and Plumbing. This role involves recording inventory status in detail and ensuring deliveries match purchase orders. The candidate will work to support all warehouse functions, maintaining efficiency as a top priority. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of operating warehouse equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Unload, load, and properly organize all daily deliveries.
• Label every product accurately and organize efficiently.
• Identify and locate the correct products during delivery.
• Work with the Warehouse Team to maintain an updated inventory.
• Handle returns by completing necessary documentation and communication.
• Maintain equipment, warehouse space, parking lot, and workspace through regular maintenance.
• Convey purchasing requirements and monitor product availability.
• Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, correct incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items of various weights and sizes.
• Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to work in environments with moderate to high noise levels and varying temperatures.
• Understanding of customer service, often working with employees outside their department and customers.
• Ability to work independently, proactively managing workload efficiently.
