Job summary

Signia Aerospace is seeking an inventory/stockroom specialist to compile and maintain material and parts inventory for smooth production flow. You will receive and stock components, manage locations, and process scrap and non-conforming materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to solve practical problems
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to receive and maintain Forklift certification
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas.
• Receive manufactured and purchased components into stockroom inventory.
• Stock components and manage default locations
• Process all scrap and non-conforming material transactions
• Pull components for manufacturing orders for turbocharger product line to support assembly operation
• Fill in for piece part packaging when necessary
• Monthly audits for proper storage of elastomer products and preservation of parts to prevent corrosion
