Duties also include unloading pad truck deliveries each week and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and well organized. Pad volume varies by location and weights range from 43 to 86 pounds. Lift support is available in our higher volume warehouses. The role also assists with inventory and handles order paperwork and may be asked to transport materials or provide support to another warehouse on occasion.**Responsibilities:**· Accurately measure and cut carpet and pad based on customer order and prepare/stage for installer pick-up the following morning.· Unload pad truck and other deliveries as received; store product as instructed, following established systems and processes.· Ensure that warehouse and surrounding area is clean and organized at all times.· Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely; completes company-sponsored forklift certification training.· Organize information as directed for inventory control.· Maintain knowledge of and follow our safety protocols.
