We are seeking motivated and dependable Material Handlers to support production operations by ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are accurately received, stored, transported, and delivered throughout the facility.
This role is essential to keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.
The Material Handler is responsible for managing the movement of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supplying production lines, processing inventory transactions, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Successful candidates will be safety-focused, organized, and capable of working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components.
Move materials between warehouse and production areas to support manufacturing operations.
Pick, stage, and deliver materials according to work orders and production schedules.
Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners, barcode scanners, and inventory management systems.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities.
Load, unload, sort, and store materials in designated locations.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of inventory.
Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to leadership.
Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area using 5S principles.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and team productivity goals.
Work closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous warehouse, material handling, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
Experience using RF scanners, barcode scanners, or inventory systems preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
