Job Summary

Payrate : $19.79 / HR

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to production lines, efficient collection of waste, and overall support to packing operations. This role ensures there is a clean, organized, and safe environment. The Material Handler works closely with the Team Lead and is expected to proactively identify issues, resolve inefficiencies, and recommend performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• 25% Ability to work with the line supervisor and other management to identify and pull the correct raw product.
• 20% Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production lines
• 15% Manage collection and proper disposal of waste from lines
• 10% Support production and packing associate with materials and supplies
• 10% Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouses and staging areas
• 10% Monitor inventory of packing materials and communicate shortages
• 5% Enforce safety and cleanliness standards within the warehouse
• 5% Collaborate with Team Lead on process improvements and labor allocation

Qualifications

Education

Prefer High School or GED but not required.

Experience

1-2 years in warehouse or inventory control, including leadership or lead-hand experience (required). Experience in food or perishable good handling, inventory systems, or warehouse equipment (preferred)
