Job summary

Kreher Steel, A Tube Supply Company, is seeking a Material Handler to move steel bar and tube within the facility, prioritize orders, and maintain product traceability. The role requires experience with forklifts and overhead cranes and strong computer and communication skills.

You will report to supervision, ensure safety and quality policies are followed, participate in inventory cycles, and support material storage organization. This is a full-time on-site position in Ft.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Material Handler using forklift/overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize orders and special projects with operations.
• Move steel bar and tube within the facility using forklifts and cranes.
• Maintain traceability of the product.
• Report deficiencies to Management/Supervisor.
• Assist in organizing material storage systems.
• Perform hardness tests on steel products.
• Use a tape measure to verify dimensions on steel products.
• Package material for shipment.
• Participate in all inventory cycle counts/year end as needed.
• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations Management to prioritize orders and special projects
