Qualifications

  • Medical device industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and pass vision/hearing checks.

Responsibilities

  • Package, process and manage customer orders and returns.
  • Receive orders physically and in the ERP system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and timely.
  • Utilize forklift to move and stock inventory.
  • Maintain data integrity in ERP systems and resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate order status updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Assist with inventory checks and backorder management.
  • Stock and pick orders for production areas.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Document all interactions and maintain records.
  • Escalate issues to the quality team when needed.
  • Follow complaint procedures and stay compliant.

Position Summary

The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting NeuWave Medical’s mission to improve patient outcomes through innovative medical device technologies. This position is responsible for the stocking, shipping, and receiving of products and components and works cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Sales to ensure customer and patient needs for product are met.

Key Accountabilities
  • Package, process and manage customer orders and returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Receive orders physically and in the ERP system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilize forklift to move and stock inventory in various warehouses
  • Maintain data integrity in ERP systems and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with inventory checks and backorder management to minimize delays.
  • Stock and pick orders for various production areas.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring a positive resolution experience.
  • Document all interactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Escalate issues that need evaluation to the quality team.
  • Understand and follow complaint procedures.
  • Develops and maintains a high degree of knowledge of the entire product portfolio
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
  • Responsible for ensuring personal compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • DOT Hazmat shipping certification is desired.
Education, Experience & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklifting experience preferred
  • Previous material handling experience preferred
  • Generally, requires 2-4 Years of work experience working in the medical device industry preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system desired
  • Ability to work a standard work schedule of Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 80lbs (for short periods of time, under 1 minute).
  • Must pass a hearing and vision check to drive a motorized forklift
Location

This position will be based in Madison, Wi. Relocation assistance may be available for the preferred candidate.
