Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support operations by moving material and inventory within the facility. You will use hand trucks, conveyors, and other equipment to pack, scan, and count products, while keeping orders accurate and labeling correctly.

Qualifications include being 18+, basic math, and ability to read safety documents. Warehouse experience and handheld scanner familiarity are a plus for this role.

Qualifications

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

It’d be great if you also have:

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
