Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Material Handler located in Longmont, CO at WP Manufacturing. The Material Handler will be responsible unloading trucks, material handling, inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload plastic resins and raw materials to and from silos, storage containers, and machines.
• Deliver materials to production machines based on daily schedules and job travelers.
• Ensure all hoppers and dryers are filled and functioning correctly.
• Set up and maintain resin drying equipment, including setting correct temperature and dew point parameters.
• Clean hoppers, grinders, and material lines to prevent cross-contamination.
• Move finished goods from the production floor to designated storage or shipping areas.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage and lot numbers for traceability.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with monthly physical inventory.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Identify and report material shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, preferably in plastic injection molding.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Knowledge of raw plastic materials (resins), drying processes, and colorant usage is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, material labels, and basic schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet for extended periods.
