Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to support refurbishment and inventory processes in the Maryland location. You will replenish, stock, and sort instruments while operating RF scanners and pallet jacks, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Flexibility to work across production areas is required, and you will assist with refurbishment tasks such as cleaning, transferring, inventory counts, and basic repairs as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience needed.
• Must demonstrate flexibility to work in other production areas as determined by work volume.
• Work effectively and communicate and relate well with others.
• Maintain effective and constructive working relationships.
• Ability to meet productivity standards for the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform the replenishing, stocking, and instrument sorting processes as assigned by the Refurbishment Supervisor and/or Refurbishment Manager.
• Operate various types of equipment in the warehouse, including RF Scanners and Pallet Jacks.
• Load and unload products in a safe and accurate manner.
• Assess all products and pallets, notifying supervisor(s) of any damaged materials.
• Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the department.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Assisting with the instrument refurbishment process as needed such as: Cleaning/washing instruments; Processing and transferring instruments; Performing counts of products for inventory purposes; Repairing and/ or throwing away cases on a weekly bases or as needed; Ability to read a schedule and replenish areas as needed.

Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hr
