This position is responsible for direct and indirect materials and required paperwork as stated in SOP for the receiving, shipping, and stores area. Fork truck drivers are responsible loading and unloading warehouse material, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, and identifying damages to vehicles. This will be a2nd Shift position (3pm-11pm) with a starting hourly pay rate of $19.39.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for correct and timely shipment to customers.
  • Entering data in SAP and purchasing spreadsheets.
  • Properly storing and entering rack locations for racks throughout the plant.
  • Keep record of issues and receipts and reconcile with production paperwork and investigate and resolve differences.
  • Responsible for load and unload of trucks in a timely manner.
  • Ensure FIFO when pulling racks for shipment or storing finished goods
  • Responsible for pulling and preparing loads for shipment
  • Rotating stock per FIFO and other customer requirements
  • Complete required paperwork and ASN’s accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for cycle counts on weekly bases, of materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for shipments loaded properly according to customer demand and pick list. Must be able to read packing slips and identify parts from the paperwork.
  • Responsible organization and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Responsible for rack organization, rack supply, and removing paper from totes.
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications Desired:

  • Two (2) years of experience driving a fork truck in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified fork truck operator.
  • Prior work experience in shipping, storeroom and warehouse environment.
  • Microsoft Office experience highly preferred.
  • Safety and goal oriented
