Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Material Handler for our Lancaster, PA facility. This full-time temporary role supports the Production team and helps drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the plant.

You will operate processing equipment, perform housekeeping per GMP, follow work instructions, and report safety or quality issues. The shift is 3PM–11PM with overtime possibilities; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Material Handler role at the Lancaster location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Competitive compensation: earn $21.25 per hour, including shift differential. Earn more with opportunities for additional overtime!
• Running food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures.
• Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
• Being responsible for recognizing and reporting employee safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.

Important Details:

This is a full-time temporary role, which operates 3PM to 11PM, rotating days/weeks. Overtime may be available depending on the needs of the business.

About You:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plus!
• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.
