Goodwill Industries—Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a Full time Material Handler to support our Middlebrook Pike warehouse in Knoxville, TN. The role requires energetic individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Hours are 8:00–4:30, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends. Responsibilities include inspecting, classifying, and routing all material received, maintaining a safe and clean dock, and operating the baling machine per safety

Responsibilities

• Classify, label, and route all material received at the Middlebrook Warehouse.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the dock and building; keep aisles clear.
• Operate the baling machine according to safety guidelines.
• May unload/load trucks; may be certified to operate forklift.
• May work as a truck helper or back-up ADC Attendant.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
• Work under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor/Lead Forklift/Baler Operator.

Goodwill Industries—Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a Full time Material Handler to support our Middlebrook Pike warehouse. Ideal candidates will be energetic, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

The hours would be 8:00 – 4:30 Monday-Friday or as needed with occasional Saturdays/Sundays. The Material handler is Responsible for inspecting, classifying and routing all material received at the Middlebrook Pike Warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all material received at The Middlebrook Warehouse is classified, labeled, and routed properly.
• Assist in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the facility by keeping the dock area and the exterior of the building clean and free from debris and clutter. Responsible for keeping aisles and fire lanes clear at all times.
• Responsible for operating the baling machine according to safety guidelines.
• May assist in unloading and loading trucks as needed; may be certified to operate the forklift.
• May work as a truck helper when needed.
• May work as a back-up ADC Attendant when needed.
• May be responsible for operating baler.
• Responsible for attending all required meetings and in-service training.
• Responsible for working under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Lead Forklift/Baler Operator to accomplish all the departments essential duties and responsibilities, including all other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
