Job summary

JFC Coffee is seeking a forklift operator for 1st and 2nd shift in Knoxville, TN. You will move and store materials, perform safety checks, and maintain inventory accuracy to support production.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift safely, using RF scanning for inventory, and ensuring compliance with HACCP/GMP standards. Overtime may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift/warehouse experience
• RF scanner experience
• Basic math and inventory skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Positions available on 1st & 2nd shift. Overtime as needed to support our customers. 1st Shift: Monday-Friday. 5:00am-4:00pm 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday. 2:00pm-10:30pm

What’s your Responsibility?

• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to receive, handle, and store product in accordance with HACCP and GMP standards
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Ensure all equipment is stored at the end of shift
• Utilize the scanning system to create accurate locations and perform accurate inventory transactions
• Inspect inbound materials and products for damages, defects, and discrepancies; promptly report any issues to Quality and Leadership
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and inventory of receiving area
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet, warehouse and workstation areas neat, clean up aisles, pick up leftover pallets, sweep the floors and keep exits clear and free from obstructions
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of forklift and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability and/or experience using a RF scan gun
• Basic math and inventory / cycle counting skills
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Positive attitude, team player and self-leadership
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed to support business demands
