Job summary

Industrial is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Knoxville, TN. The role supports warehouse operations on the plant floor, with emphasis on accurate picking, packing, and inventory tracking.

You will work a Day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, gain hands-on experience in a climate-controlled environment, and contribute to safety-focused operations. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to lift up to 49 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with handheld computer scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing of products according to customer orders.
• Maintain the computerized store system, including serial number scanning and tracking.
• Assist with general distribution center duties such as packing, unpacking, and housekeeping.

Our client, Industrial is seeking a Material Handlerto join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse side of an industrial manufacturer supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have physical strength, attention to details, dexterity and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $19.40

Shift: Days 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing of products according to customer orders.
• Maintain the computerized store system, including serial number scanning and tracking.
• Assist with general distribution center duties such as packing, unpacking, and housekeeping.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and communication tools.
• Familiarity with using handheld computer scanners.
• Ability to work on your feet for most of an 8-hour shift and lift up to 49 lbs regularly.
• Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stacker lifts, and pallet wrapping equipment is preferred.
