Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Material Handler for Raleigh. The role involves operating a forklift in a rotating 12-hour schedule (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am) on a Dupont plan, with 7 consecutive days off each month. Responsibilities

• Climb on and off forklift (height of 3 feet)
• Observe surroundings and reverse with load, watching for clearance
• Operate forklift controls with frequent grabbing of controls
• Sit on forklift for 8 to 12 hours
• Change forklift battery (up to 3116 lbs) using hoist
• Look up to 45 degrees when pulling orders and placing pallets in racks
• Go up and down stairs
• Drive over ramps and dock plates with some back jarring
• Stack cases on pallets up to 54 cases per pallet (max 45 lbs/case)
• Rework pallets by removing and restacking cases
• Sweep and clean the warehouse exterior
• Move up and down ramps with forklift

Material Handler| Raleigh| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Available Shift:

Rotating 12-hour shift 7 am-7 pm/7 pm-7 am

Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts on a Dupont schedule

Includes 7 consecutive days off every month!

Frequent tasks

• Climbing off and on forklift (height of 3 feet)
• Looking over shoulder to right and left while reversing or driving backwards with load
• Operate right handed operating controls (little pressure required but frequent grabbing of controls
• Sitting on forklift for 8 to 12 hours
• Changing battery (max. 3116 lbs.) (using hoist) may require some upper body control of swinging battery (abs and shoulders)
• Looking up to 45 degrees tilting neck back when pulling orders, and putting pallet in racks
• Going up and down stairs
• Driving over ramps and dock plates - some jarring to back

Infrequent tasks

• Stacking cases on pallet (max. 45 lbs/case, 54 cases/pallet)
• Reworking pallets (removing and restacking cases)
• Sweeping warehouse
• Cleaning outside warehouse
• Going up and down ramps with forklift
