Position

Second (2nd) Shift Sanitation (Material Handler), Monday-Friday. 6pm-2am.

Pay

$19.65 per hour, plus $1.50/hr shift differential with an additional $1.75/hr shift differential when work day rotates into weekends.

Base Pay Increase

Base Pay INCREASE to $19.90 after 6 months, $20.40 after 12 months and $21.15 after 24 months.

Required Experience

A Minimum of (6) months experience in the following:

• Sanitation, Custodian or Janitor role within a Warehouse or Distribution environment is highly desired.
• Able to operate a sit-down forklift in order to move boxes and packing debris is highly preferred. Must be willing to train to operate a forklift.
• Must have reliable transportation in order to move between the 3 warehouses.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time. The position will require standing for up to 90% of the shift.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

Job Duties

• General sanitation and custodial tasks with the facility warehouse, breakrooms and bathrooms.
• Breaking down cardboard boxes and picking up trash from parking lots of all 3 warehouses.
• Operate powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product.
• Check all inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.
• Load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and its equipment neat, clean, orderly; inspect all operated equipment daily; complete daily inspection of equipment; assist in physical inventories.
