Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking an experienced Material Handler to be part of our Inventory Team. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives, homes, and our amazing recreational areas. As a Material Handler, you should have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. This role involves working closely with receivers, pickers, paint and production employees. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring finished goods and paint inventory.
• Organizing, cycle counting, moving, record keeping of paint finished goods inventory
• Maintaining and updating inventory records of painted finished goods inventory
• Correctly stocking, issuing, and tracking equipment and supplies
• Using a forklift to move parts and chassis between operations

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experiencein an inventory/warehouse environment, material handling, or similar role.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities, with the ability to coordinate across departments effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
