Job summary

U.S. Bolt Manufacturing, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate a forklift, use a pallet wrapping machine, load and unload trucks, and place wrapped pallets in designated locations while maintaining accuracy and safety. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and dependable attendance are required.

Other duties may be assigned.Must be able to operate a forklift safely. Know how to use the pallet wrapping machine. Load and unload tables as necessary. Load and unload trucks. Put wrapped pallets in locations. Pay attention to detail. Have legible handwriting. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Have good attendance and be punctual.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.## QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfy each essential duty. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
