Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler in Hillsboro, OR for the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts, recording inventory, and loading/unloading trucks. GED or diploma is required; forklift certification is a plus. 1–2 years in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and hazard‑free work area.

Material Handler

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: 1st | Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• GED or diploma required; forklift certificate is an advantage
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Ability to use scanners or tracking systems, or learn quickly on the job
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Follow instructions accurately
• Lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for the duration of the shift
• Log inventory and orders using basic computer skills
• Load and unload trucks without slowing the line
• Move, stack, and stage product where it belongs
• Inspect incoming items, identify mistakes, and report them
• Maintain a clean and hazard‑free work area
• Provide assistance to teammates as needed
