Job summary

A leading coatings company in High Point, North Carolina is seeking a Truck Operator and Inventory Specialist. This role involves processing deliveries, managing inventory, and operating a forklift. The ideal candidate will have strong motor vehicle operation skills, experience with SAP S4, and the ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work independently and follow safety regulations. A good attendance record is also required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound deliveries using a computer.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift as needed.
• Perform inventory cycle counting.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards.

Job Title

Truck Operator and Inventory Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Using computer, processes inbound and outbound deliveries
• Processing and packing of orders
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed using Forklift.
• Procures and delivers drums via yard truck, to manufacturing departments as requested by Department Lead.
• Cycle counting inventory
• Knowledge and Use of SAP S4
• Maintains 5S guided housekeeping
• Performs other duties as directed by his/her Leadership Team.

Skills

• Must have excellent motor vehicle operating skills, and ability to operate a 2-ton truck.
• Must be able to work without constant supervision.
• Must be able to receive work instructions from management
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Understand and Adherence to OSHA & EPA Regulations
• Must have good attendance record and performed at an acceptable level on previous job.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Basic knowledge of RF gun
• Basic math skills
• SAP background a plus S4 Hana preferred
• Experienced in inventory and cycle counting a plus
• S4 HANA experience preferred
