Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our High Point, NC facility. You will support daily warehouse operations by processing shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound deliveries, order picking/packing, forklift loading/unloading, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. OSHA/EPA compliance and overtime availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
• Experience with RF scanning equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join us at our facility in High Point, NC.

In this position, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by processing shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process inbound and outbound deliveries using warehouse computer systems.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support 5S housekeeping initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
• Strong motor vehicle operating skills and ability to operate a 2-ton truck.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of and adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
• Basic experience using RF scanning equipment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of SAP; experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory control practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
