Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our EST team in Hatfield, PA! The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and products for a facility. Under general supervision, performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

LOCATION: Hatfield, PA (Onsite)

Salary: $18-$22 USD Hourly

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Executes daily material handling activities including receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, parts and products.
• Ensures that all materials are properly labeled, packaged, and stored in designated areas.
• (20%) Supports the inventory management process by counting and verifying materials, parts and products.
• Identifies and reports any discrepancies or damages.Recommends process improvements to reduce future discrepancies.
• (20%) Executes daily warehouse operations, including picking and packing materials, preparing shipments and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Contacts carriers to pick up freight.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• (20%) Performs a variety of kitting and order functions.
• Performs cycle count inventory.
• (20%) Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Working knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Physical ability to lift, push and pull materials and equipment.
