Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Material Handler for an onsite role in Milwaukee, WI. This Temp-to-Hire position (3+ months) requires reading blueprints, moving materials to work areas, and coordinating staging for timely production.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing, can read English fluently, and will pass a pre-employment screen. High school diploma or GED is required; forklift certification is preferred.

• Ability to make decisions and act on them in a production setting.
• Strong follow-through and instruction compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a material handler helpful
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints to be able to pick appropriate materials
• Critical thinker who can make decisions and act on them
• Ability to follow instructions
• Possess ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Forklift certified preferred
