The position offers 1st and 2nd shifts with hourly wages of $19.24 and $20.24, respectively, along with an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision. Training includes RF technology and basic warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred or comparable work experience.
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics.
• Good reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under stress.
• Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb frequently and 51-75 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Verify items received by matching description, quantity, packaging, and expiration dates.
• Break down products into correct stocking locations and document appropriately.
• Note discrepancies and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Rotate stock with expiration dates where applicable.
• Learn and use RF technology for distribution tasks.
• Assist with Receiving and Picking and participate in special projects.
• Maintain standards of quality and policy compliance in daily duties.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN GRAND PRAIRIE, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Grand Prairie Texas. This individual will be responsible for the replenishment of products to the primary location, to ensure adequate availability for picking. The ideal candidate will possess good reading, writing, math, and computer skills, good communication skills, and much more listed below.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• 1st Shift $19.24/hour – 7:00am to 3:00pm
• 2nd Shift $20.24/hour – 4:00pm to 12:30pm
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Grand Prairie, TX

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifies that items have been received correctly by matching product description, quantity, packaging unit, and expiration date (where applicable) on the putaway document or RF device, with the product received. Breaks down products received into correct selling units and puts products into correct stocking location, as noted on the putaway document or RF device
• Notes discrepancies and marks products for review by department team lead or supervisor as appropriate
• Ensures items with expiration dates have stock rotated accordingly
• Must learn to utilize RF technology
• If products or inventory are damaged, brings to designated damaged area in Inventory Control or calls the spill team as appropriate
• Will also be trained in various distribution functions such as Receiving and Picking
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience
• Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code)
• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills
• Good communication (written/verbal) skills
• Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments
• Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred
• Physical demands refer to the level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform critical tasks in support of critical job functions
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Lift, carry or move products up to: 0-50 lb commonly and 51-75 lb occasionally
