Job summary

KPS Global LLC, the leading insulated panel system provider based in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Material Handler to move, load and unload materials under supervision in accordance with procedures. You will help ensure quality, safety and productivity while supporting production, shipping and waste management.

Responsibilities include using hand trucks and hoists, operating basic tools, preparing shipments, and maintaining 5S housekeeping in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension required.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Must be able to stand and walk on concrete all day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to climb and balance.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using hand trucks, hoists and other equipment as needed for production, shipping, or waste management.
• Construct shipping containers, prepare products for shipment, and crate and/or band items as required.
• Inspect products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading material under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
• Utilizing hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management
• Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered tools
• Constructing shipping containers, preparing product for shipment, and crating and/or banding products as required
• Inspecting product to insure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements
• Completing and maintaining accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

Required Skills

• Ability to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required material handling equipment
