Job summary

KPS Global is seeking a Machine Operator in Goodyear, AZ to set up and operate production equipment under supervision. You will read blueprints and job orders, handle materials, and complete required paperwork ensuring QA, safety and efficiency.

This role requires physical stamina, adherence to PPE, and the ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Ideal candidates have a GED or HS diploma, less than one year of related experience, basic blueprint reading, and English

Qualifications

• Stand/walk on concrete for up to 100% of shift.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required.
• Lift and carry 50 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Climb and balance as necessary.
• Use hands for tool handling; perform inspections.
• Maintain PPE and safety compliance.
• Read, speak, and understand English.
• Operate equipment safely per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment under supervision.
• Follow Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct.
• Read job orders, diagrams, or blueprints to position machinery.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials with lifts when available.
• Complete paperwork: bar-coding, checklists, shipping/receiving docs, scans.
• Perform pre-shift preventative maintenance.
• Maintain 5S and workplace cleanliness.

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures KPS Global meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards and satisfies customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
• Operating manual production machinery and equipment
• Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, or blue prints to select, position, and secure machinery and materials
• Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and product utilizing lifting equipment when available
• Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blue prints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and scanning of materials
• Performing pre-shift preventative maintenance
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
