Job summary

KPS Global LLC is seeking a Material Handler in Fort Worth, TX to move, load, and unload materials under supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity. You will handle materials for production, shipping, and waste management, using hand trucks and hoists as needed.

Responsibilities include operating tools, constructing shipping containers, inspecting products, and maintaining accurate paperwork and 5S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to demonstrate safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Valid forklift certification with prior forklift experience.
• Stand/walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday.
• Lift up to 50 lbs alone, more with assistance.
• Ability to climb and balance.
• Manual dexterity for tool usage.
• Visual inspection of products.
• Work in non-temperature controlled environment.
• Wear required PPE.

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading material under immediate supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that KPS Global is able to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements
• Utilizing hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management
• Operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered tools
• Constructing shipping containers, preparing product for shipment, and crating and/or banding products as required
• Inspecting product to insure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements
• Completing and maintaining accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems
• Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
