Job Description

NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Material Handler in their Exton, PA facility, Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and packing materials and supplies.

Duties

• Count, weigh, or measure incoming or outgoing items to verify information against documents; examine shipments for damage or shortages and communicate with shippers to resolve issues; complete necessary documentation.
• Receive and issue vendor materials, process deliveries, return deliveries, and purchase orders electronically into SAP.
• Route materials to inspection, storage, or work-in-process locations.
• Cut raw material steel according to cut sheet router.
• Pull and verify parts needed for production and spare parts orders using kit lists.
• Return and verify parts returned from production orders or customers.
• Issue materials from stores via stock requisitions.
• Assist in perpetual inventory processes.
• Skid, box, wrap, and pack materials to prevent transit damage.
• Enter shipping data on UPS/FED EX terminals.
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 months of experience in a similar field. Prior forklift operation experience is required. Additionally, candidates should have:

• Ability to log onto/off a computer, enter data into an ERP system and Excel spreadsheets, and send/receive emails.
• A valid driver’s license.
• The ability to understand and carry out instructions and solve problems using common sense.
