Job summary

Vomela Commercial Group is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our fast-paced production and shipping team. This role supports daily warehouse, shipping, and production floor operations. If you’re safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Pay range: $18–$22 per hour. The ideal candidate lifts up to 50 lbs, has forklift experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems preferred.
• Willingness to learn; training available for the right candidate with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Verify completeness of shipments against shipping orders.
• Assemble, pack, protect, label, and weigh outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Move materials to support operators on the production floor.
• Trace shipments when required.
• Maintain adequate inventory of packaging supplies.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist other departments when shipping duties are completed.
• Make local deliveries or pick-ups using a company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
