Job summary

SBG is seeking a dedicated team member for their shipping and receiving operations in Northampton County, Easton. The ideal candidate will have over a year of experience in shipping and/or receiving, playing a critical role in ensuring material is received and prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently.

The position comes with a full benefits package, including health insurance and vacation time, effective from day one. The role involves regular lifting of materials, operation of RF scanners, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and/or receiving.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, frequently lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Job description

Join our shipping & receiving team and use your knowledge to ensure you properly receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving, additions and deletions for materials from the record. Prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist Logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive Customer satisfaction. We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1.

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and/or receiving
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than seventy-five pounds (with assistance)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating a forklift
• 1+ years of experience using an RF scanner
• The ability to work at a fast pace and meet rates
